What we offer
The team at Cleve Rural Traders are trained experts when it comes to the agricultural industry and the requirements it has. We have four agronomists on our team who are dedicated to providing growers with the best advice possible, and our product range of rural merchandise is extensive and of the highest quality. We not only service growers, but have in stock many pet food supplies, water tanks and pumps, work boots, and fishing gear including bait to cater for everyone. Please don’t hesitate to consult us on product suitability or professional advice, and if you need something else we will do our best to source the product or part you need as quickly as possible.
Our Business
Cleve Rural Traders was established in 2001 under the banner of National Rural Independents. Being part of the NRI group allows us to operate in a cost competitive manner with the freedom and service you expect from an independent company. Part of our commitment to customer's success is stocking quality products throughout the store from agricultural chemical to merchandise. We get to know our customers personally and truly care about the success of all those who visit our shop and use our products and services. Outside of the store, we sponsor many sporting clubs and local events as part of the Cleve and wider districts' community.

Sarah Meyer
MANAGER/AGRONOMIST
Sarah Meyer has been working for Cleve Rural Traders since November, 2009 when she completed her Bachelor of Agriculture at The University of Adelaide, Roseworthy Campus. Sarah has great local knowledge after growing up on her family farm at Darke Peak. Sarah’s agronomy experience and passion for the job, rural life and community adds great value to the Cleve Rural Traders team. Sarah is also the manager of the business and a mum working just 3 days a week: Monday to Wednesday.

Geoff Rissmann AGRONOMIST
Geoff started working at Cleve Rural Traders in January 2017 after completing his Bachelor of Agricultural Science at the University of Queensland in 2016. Growing up on a family grazing and grain property near Goondiwindi in QLD, he has come to know best district practices while still being able to look outside the box due to his previous farming experience. Geoff is passionate about encouraging farmers to go the extra mile with their farming practices and be on the front foot in order to increase their production.
Jarrad Schiller AGRONOMIST
Jarrad lives north of Cowell and has a good understanding of the farming environment in that area. He has many years of first hand experience with crop production and management practices being involved with the Cowell based family property. He is an asset to our Cowell based growers with his local knowledge and enables us to be better involved in that region. Jarrad started at Cleve Rural Traders in January 2018 whilst finishing his final year of Agricultural Science at Adelaide University.
